Once again it was time for the Festival of Speed which is held every year at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando. Last year I missed out on the Hennessey Venom GT, a carbon fiber Koenigsegg CCX-R and the Gemgalla Mirage GT by not going to the jet Port reception. This year the CCX-R made it to the Sunday Concours and I must say it was spectacular to see in person. The weather was perfect and the grounds of the Ritz was filled to capacity with a nice variety of cars that ranged from the one off Bugatti Veyron Sang Bleu to the Sox & Martin Pro Stock Challenger. It was a great selection of cars that had something for everyone and a pleasure to walk amongst them and get a close look at cars most people can only dream of. I can't really pick a favorite and there were so many special cars like the CCX_R or the perfect 1969 COPO Camaro and you'll have just as much trouble when you check out my coverage. Next year there will be four shows around Florida so check the official Festival of Speed site for details.
